My 10 year old daughter wanted to watch this film - she read the Junior Novelization and was so looking forward to it, I bought it and watched it with her. 'Lion' is not one of those movies. Izulu Lami full movie - Lokshin Bioskop. I respect that there was nothing gratuitous and they kept it about the story. An incredible story thoughtfully told and beautifully filmed, with a mesmerising soundtrack. I watch a lot of movies & TV series.

We were so interested in the story that after the movie was over we spent another half hour or so looking up the real people it happened to and reading more about it. Very well described, inspiring, scary, India is a world that swallows you up, only to spit you out a changed person. I knew ahead of time there were mature themes - and to do justice to the story, they had to be there. A dramatic life story starting in India, very sad at times, scary, colourful and vibrant, deep and fulfilling, hopeful; when you least expect it, miracles do happen!
