Since 1984, Ken has loitered the skies in many aircraft, including the classic Douglas DC-8. Many non-towered airports have the same common traffic advisory frequency (CTAF). All you have to do is call the tower back and say “Unable” if you are not comfortable making that approach and they will space you a different way.
