Carl and Ellie always make me tear up too - I love that Disney showed what true love looks like 50 years after the wedding scene. I still can't watch the beginning! It is terribly sad!
They were excited to be first-time parents and discussed the eggs' names. Carl comes up with a scheme to keep his promise to Ellie: he uses his old professional supplies to create a makeshift airship, using 10,000 helium balloons, which lifts his house off its foundations.
