On another note, for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary (we didn't have much money and my hubbies brother got rather snotty with us because we wouldn't/couldn't put £100 towards a joint pressie) so We got a scrap book covered it in gold paper and a gold ribbon (I say we, I did most of it) we got photos from the in laws friends and family or when they wre younger and also spoke to family and friends about how they met, and discretely spoke to them about their wedding day (told them our daughter was doing a project as school). Luckily, you don’t need a lot of money, a delivery from Amazon, or a party planner to make any birthday special.
