His descriptions were evocative of the times, and I could almost visualize the destruction taking place, as the book weaved along. Was interesting to see how it all played out. It’s a known fact.Paraphrasing Whitehead, I would say that the safest general characterisation of the science-fiction tradition is that it consists of a series of footnotes to H. G. Wells. We can't let our guards down. Why not America like the movie?
